A SHORT HISTORY OF HORNCHURCH

It is thought that Hornchurch has been occupied since the Stone Age, as suggested by the tools and artefacts discovered during various excavations. Hornchurch is full of further historical traces, with a Roman settlement also being found in the south of the town. Today, it's home to around 63,000 residents and a few famous faces, such as ex-Arsenal footballer Ray Parlour.
