Barkingside’s tube station sits north on the central line and is only a short journey to London’s Liverpool Street, taking no more than 30 minutes. Barkingside is also served by an abundance of London bus routes that link Barkingside with the capital and neighbouring towns. A SHORT HISTORY OF BARKINGSIDE

The town was historically part of Essex until the creation of the London Borough of Redbridge in 1965. Full of prehistoric links, in 1860 Barkingside unearthed the only complete skull of a mammoth to be discovered in the UK. Today, the town is home to around 12,000 residents, and several famous names live in the local area - Rumour has it Ronnie O’Sullivan learnt to play snooker in the old snooker hall (now flats) opposite our office!
