I have lived in Buckhurst Hill for over forty years now, and I think it is a testament of how a good an area this is. I am very close to Buckhurst Hill Station although my house is on the side of the road that does not back onto the train line, so there is the advantage of access into the City without any noise of the trains at night. I enjoy dog walking around the area as you are really spoilt for choice with the many green open spaces, local parks and woodland. Popping to the shops could not be easier and I often go for days without having to use my car. In the past couple of years I have given my house a total overhaul, I have converted the garage to provide a modern ground-floor shower room which I know could suit a busy family lifestyle.
