I have lived here for 18 wonderful years and absolutely love my flat, which I also work from. I am spoilt by the location because everything I need is so close at hand, whether shopping or travelling into London or just getting a cup of good coffee.

The flat is spacious and secure and the area is quiet, so it is quite nice to spend time here. The only reason I am leaving is I am moving to Spain and I cannot take it with me!

With well-maintained and generous open plan bedroom and lounge areas as well as a separate kitchen there is plenty of space for singles or a couple to live and love in, or indeed to easily create a one bedroom flat, subject to the relevant planning permissions being obtained.

Buckhurst Hill has a village feel, so if you are not necessarily in the mood to jump on the train to catch a West End show finding a closer to home place to spend your leisure time could not be more convenient. On a sunny day, you may just want to lay a blanket just outside your front door on Roebuck Green and read a good book, or take a bike ride in nearby Epping Forest.

However if you are feeling more social, the cafes and restaurants of nearby Queens Road are always welcoming and buzzing. Here you will also find Waitrose, where you can do your weekly shop, as well as a host of specialty stores, including clothing shops, a pharmacy and a bike shop, amongst others. Besides the Central Line, the area has great bus links to surrounding towns like Chigwell, Chingford and Loughton, and road links, including the M25, the M11, and the A406 to take you further afield in your car.
