The great thing about being an Estate Agent is that every day, house and person is different. If you work hard and you're good at it, you'll make decent money. I once worked in a factory making metal boxes. Despite making twice as many as the bloke next to me, we got paid the same. Here I get rewarded based on my performance.
There is plenty of training on offer, both formal and in the branch. It means we have a common standard. The trainers always put the effort in and really go to town. The training is thorough and there's always something to learn. There's always someone to ask.
The support goes beyond training. The company is always working to give us the best tools from the standard of our offices to the presentation of the brochures and the quality of the marketing.

Being a branch manager means arriving first to prepare for the daily morning meeting and weekly Arun Way “Out-passioning” sessions. The Arun Way is about giving more than people expect, both clients and colleagues. Customer Service has always been very important to me and the Arun Way takes it to a new level. The results are clear – about a third of our valuations have come from family, friends and neighbours recommending us.
Part of the Arun Way is charity work. I took part in the Human Race Triathlon this year and was very pleased to have taken 6 minutes off my time from last year, with two medals to show for it. It was also very positive how many people came to support us from the company. It shows how the Arun Way encourages us to do something for each other.
